Baby danced the polka
Oh..my son loves the book. The book is about how a mom and dad try to put their baby to sleep, but the baby just refuses. In the end, they give up and start dancing along with the baby. The book reminded me of numerous days when kaju would not sleep and I have ended up doing what he wants to (and this includes playing bits of paper way past midnight)
Piglet and Papa - Margaret Wild
A very very cute book, perfect for a dad to read to the child. A little piglet is playing with its papa, and he bites papa's tail hard. Papa gets angry and the piglet is not sure if papa still loves the piglet. The piglet meets other farm animals who reassure that piglet's papa does still love him very much. In the end, piglet goes back to papa and realises that papa loves the piglet more than anything else.Such a cute story:)
Giraffe's cant dance - Giles Andreae
A lovely book with a great message. You have to read the book to appreciate it. The book is about a giraffe who wants to dance but cannot. All the other animals make fun of the giraffe. The giraffe is sad and heads back home. A little cricket helps giraffe find his own rhythm. In the end giraffe dances so well that all the other animals are stunned. Oh, and there is a little cricket in every page which my son loves to find out, just like he loves to find the little mouse in good night moon book
